Welcome to the Departmemt of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (DRTM) at the University of Macau. Our department, formerly the International Integrated Resort Management programme, is a unique academic group within the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Macau. We offer a Bachelor of Science in International Integrated Resort Management, a Master of Science in International Integrated Resort Management, and a PhD in Business Administration with specialization in Hospitality and Gaming Management.

We have redesigned our curriculums to better prepare our students to be professional managers in the integrated resort industry. The new name reflects this focus in delivering state-of-art knowledge to our students, as well as our active engagement in research.

Our efforts received recognitions from different ranking agencies. Earlier this year, according to the QS World University Rankings, we are the top 10 in Asia and top 50 globally for the subject for Hospitality and Leisure Management. Recently, we are ranked #51-75 globally for the subject Hospitality and Tourism Management in the 2018 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). The ranking highlights our strengths in research and engagement in the development of the integrated resort industry.

As part of the program, many of our students take part in summer training and overseas study trips (e.g., Las Vegas, Houston, Los Angeles, Hawaii and Seoul). Our students are also given the opportunities to undertake internships and participate in exchange programs globally. These were featured in the episode (ep. 31) of TVB (HK) program ‘Academia Without Borders’ (升學無疆界)!

Our 13 faculty members come from five different countries and have very diverse academic backgrounds. Please go through our website to learn more about us and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any enquiry.

Thank you very much!

Yours Sincerely,

Dr. Robin Chi Hang CHARK
